Beet Puree (8+ Months)

I would like to talk about the benefits of this healing food that appeals to both the eyes and the palate. Beetroot is rich in vitamins and minerals. Its red color indicates that this plant has antioxidant properties. Antioxidant means strength and health. The pigments that give red beet its color make it an effective vegetable in the fight against cancer. Beetroot is rich in vitamins A, B, C and P. It is appetizing and nourishing. The rubidium in its composition facilitates digestion. Beets are also rich in phosphorus, iron, copper, potassium, magnesium, calcium, bromine, zinc and manganese. The plant, rich in beta carotene and folate, strengthens the immune system and supports blood formation. Beetroot juice is one of the most powerful blood conditioners.

Materials

  • 1 medium red beetroot

  • Hot water

  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil

Fabrication

  • We boil 1 red beet by cutting it into 4 without peeling it. If we boil it for more than 15 minutes, beta carotenes will start to disappear, be careful.

  • Since the nitrates will be released while boiling the beet, the boiling water must be poured. Let's pour the boiling water and peel the skins of the beets. It will be easily peeled off by hand.

  • Mash the beets thoroughly with a fork. Let's use a very small amount of hot water for its consistency.

  • Finally, let's feed it to babies with the addition of olive oil.
