Winter Tea (8+ Months)

Cold weather, snow and winter are at the door again… Thank God, nature offers us many things to protect us from diseases… It is up to us, Chef Moms, to bring these miraculous spices and herbs to babies in the most appropriate way.

Linden; As we all know, it is one of the first things that come to our minds when it comes to colds such as the flu. Because it has a two-way effect; first, it soothes the irritated throat, tonsils and pharynx areas with its slippery texture. The second effect is that it supports the immune system…

Ginger, on the other hand, protects the body from inflammation and supports the immune system thanks to the substance named " GINGEROL " in its content. Turmeric also protects our body from cancer, inflammatory diseases and diabetes thanks to the antioxidant substance called " CURCUMIN ".

NOTE : Since these areas are already destroyed in cases of upper respiratory tract diseases, all winter teas, including linden tea, should be consumed warmly by everyone, regardless of big or small, it should not be forgotten that any boiling tea will destroy the throat thoroughly.

Materials

  • 1-2 pinches Cook Mom Linden
  • 150 cc boiling water
  • 2 pinches ginger powder (preferably freshly ground)
  • 2 pinches turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Good quality honey for over 1 year old (It will be put when it is warm, not when it is hot.)

Fabrication

  • I start by saying that linden should never be boiled on the stove. Take your boiling water into the teapot where you will brew the tea and add linden on it and leave it to infuse for 5-6 minutes.
  • Take the brewed linden in a glass, add ginger, turmeric and lemon juice and wait for it to cool.
  • Add honey to the warmed linden ( for over 1 year old ) and mix.
